So last night I did my shred after L went to bed. I find it to be quite easy to do any time of the day but I have gotten into the habit of doing it a few hours before bed.
I found I pushed myself a lot harder last night (I think its because I just had such a good OP day and wanted to make every second of it count). Oct. 11th I AM going up to the next level. I am not tossing the idea around anymore I am just going to do it!
Today will be day 8 of the shred, and I couldnt be more proud of myself. The morning after the first workout I hurt so much but I pushed through it! I am also going to do 30 mins on the treadmill today (2AP) and possibly one of my other 30 min cardio dvds sometime today (2AP also) so if I can get all of that accomplished I will earn 8AP today (HOLY SMOKES!)
I find it funny how I just feel like I am an active person now?! I make sure I earn at least 1 AP every single day! So long as I am moving my body (on purpose) then the day is successful in terms of exercise. I always feel so awesome when I take L for a walk and the only other people I see on the street are very fit runners!
The menu today:
1 Chocolate chip all bran bar (2pts)
1 cup of 1% milk (2pts)
(its like having a chocolate chip cookie and glass of milk for breakfast, it was awesome)
2 meatloaf muffins (4pts)
1/2 cup brown rice (2pts)
steamed mixed veggies (0pts)
Haven't decided yet but I do have 14 points to play with for supper and a snack! I really need to go get groceries!! I do have cooked chicken breast in the freezer... probably will figure something out with that!
